Fight the Sugar with a Little Help from Miss Universe

Olivia Culpo shared her pageant-worthy snacks with Shape magazine.

Published:

It’s not quite New Year’s, but if you’re like me, December is a time when sugar and butter consumption is unrivaled by other months. And many fridges may still be stuffed with yummy remnants of roasts and sweet potatoes just begging to be reheated, not to mention the leftover rum cake.

But we’ve got a voice of reason in our locally grown Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo. Though she reportedly celebrated her victory with some pasta from room service, it’s clear that she wouldn’t be where she is without regular discipline. In an interview with Shape magazine, she shared some of her favorite healthy foods.

(Okay, yes, changing up the Hershey Kiss cookies with some pineapple is probably a good idea.)
