A Bottle for the Host, A Bottle for Me
I don’t know about you, but I’ve got a handful of holiday get-togethers slated for the next couple of weeks. I always like to bring a bottle (or four) with me — one for the host, the rest to pop open on the spot and drink with friends.
In search of something interesting (pass on the pinot grigio) but still budget conscious (under $20), I phoned Eno Fine Wines in Downcity. Owner Jerry Ehrlich wasted no time rattling off his favorite of-the-moment bargains. All of these wines are a little unusual (read: good conversation starters) and very drinkable (with food or without). Cheers!
