It was a year in the making, and now the August 2012 issue is on newsstands. It took months and months of researching; eating, window-shopping, salon visits, day trips, nights out and rubber balls to the head, but we rounded up the best of the best in our state--340 awards in all. The August Best of Rhode Island issue is the kind of resource you'll want to keep around for the entire year, so that when you have a special dinner to plan or friends to entertain, you can be sure to experience the best there is. Want to know more about it? Our good friends over at "The Rhode Show" also put together an amazing prime time special featuring the issue and our famous Best of Rhode Island party that was held on July 26 at Providence Performing Arts Center. They filmed lots of footage of our guests, winners and the restaurants that served up fabulous food. They also delved into the process by which the winners are chosen. The special will air again on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 6 p.m. on WNAC Fox Providence, so be sure to tune in!
