So remember Ellen Piangerelli, the Providence resident who is participating in an icey endurance fest, the Polar Challenge? Well you can now catch up with her as she and her two teammates - they're currently in fifth place -  race against competitors from all around the world over 320 nautical miles of snow to the magnetic North Pole.
The Polar Challenge website offers a map of contestants' progress, photos of the glorious scenery (they've been lucky with the weather so far) and daily diary calls. It's totally addictive. Go Team America!
